Bring On Tomorrow

Bold is who we are
Forget “Hoosier humility.” We are Indiana University. We foster resilience, instill confidence, and inspire through authenticity and determination. We are a force that drives our students, faculty, staff, and alumni to stand up against adversity, conquer obstacles, and make a lasting impact on the world around them. And we do this with a sense of collective pride, knowing that the world is better because of the amazing work being done by Indiana University's faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
That’s what Bring On Tomorrow is all about, and it can be the star of your unit’s marketing materials. Here’s how to do it.

Art direction
Heroic imagery takes center stage in a simple, clean layout. Like IU, the headline font is bold and powerful, and it stretches to the edge of the frame to accentuate our conviction. BRING ON TOMORROW is not a tagline. It punctuates the headline and is treated with large type.
Other art direction tips
- Typography: Use Benton Sans Condensed Black for headlines and Benton Sans Regular for subheads. Make sure the headline and subhead are all caps.
- Color: Headlines should always remain crimson whenever possible.
- Photography: Bring On Tomorrow uses strong, topical photography where students and faculty take center stage as they work to build a better tomorrow. One subject should serve as the photo's focal point.
- Trident: The trident should stand alone in the trident tab. Schools and departments may use their lockups.

Copywriting
Each headline speaks about all that is possible at Indiana University and our commitment to breaking boundaries. That's why we push headlines and other type elements to the edge of the space. The body copy affirms our unapologetic confidence with specific proof points that support our claims and invite readers to discover more.
Other copywriting tips
- Headlines: short, active, and focus on how we’re creating the future today. Consider using no more than three words.
- Example: CEOs Made Here
- Subhead: Always use "Bring On Tomorrow" as the subhead. It should punctuate the headline and also follow a logical progression.
- Example: "Healthcare Reimagined. Bring On Tomorrow."
- Proof points are the irrefutable evidence of our impact.
- These facts and data include rankings, achievements, awards, and history.
- Use 3-5 bullets to call out your most relevant and impactful proof points. Example:
- #1 Most doctors trained in the United States
- #1 Most languages taught in the United States
- #1 Nationally ranked Master of Public Affairs program
- #1 Nationally ranked online MBA program
