Connecting the class of 2023 with IU's alumni services and opportunities

As we enter the heart of commencement season at IU, we are excited to welcome 20,593 class of 2023 students into our impressive alumni network. With over three-quarters of a million living IU alumni worldwide, including 713,379 in the U.S. and 392,754 in Indiana alone, IU’s alumni community ranks among the nation’s top five largest. Likewise, our alumni and alumni association provide some of the most substantial resources, tools, and opportunities for continued support and growth.
Launched last year, My IU is a hub of alumni services. Graduates can stay connected, navigate their careers, immerse themselves in IU stories, access the IU Alumni Magazine, join their local chapter, and more. We encourage all of our graduates to create an account and take advantage of everything My IU has to offer.
Beyond this extensive collection of resources is a community of alumni volunteers who work tirelessly to support IU alumni worldwide. Our IU Alumni Association volunteer network is open to alumni with diverse perspectives and experiences who share our commitment to fostering a culture of belonging for fellow alumni. Volunteers plan networking and mentorship events, engage with other alumni to grow as leaders in their professions, coordinate service and travel opportunities, and support numerous IU alumni communities, including our global Virtual Alumni Network.
I extend my gratitude to our tireless volunteers for supporting their fellow alumni, and to the IU Alumni Association for making these opportunities possible. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to IU.
Finally, to our newest graduates: Congratulations again on your achievements, and welcome to the IU alumni family! We are excited to see all you will accomplish and are here to support you every step of the way.
