Aiming high to achieve our mission of offering students the best education possible is ingrained in all we do at Indiana University, and I'm excited to share some news that illustrates what we can accomplish together.

Today we'll announce the numerous IU programs that are ranked first or in the top 10 nationally in U.S. News and World Report’s Best Online Education Program rankings for 2022.

These are among the many high rankings for IU's online education programs:

  • The Kelley School of Business at IU Bloomington tied for first overall in best online MBA and Master of Science programs, with general management and finance MBA specialties also reaching the very top.
  • The IU School of Education's Instructional Systems Technology program at IU Bloomington ranked first in the category of educational/instructional media design online master’s degrees.
  • The School of Nursing at IUPUI also ranked in the top 10 among nursing education programs and tied for No. 26 overall, jumping 23 spots from last year.
  • Four IU programs were in the top 40 for best online bachelor’s programs, including the Psychology program in IU East’s Department of Psychology, which was ranked No. 8.

While this is only one measurement of success and cannot fully express all the incredible work of our faculty, staff and students, we are proud to see Indiana University’s excellence reflected in these national rankings.
