Nutrition science is the study of nutrition processes, including the examination of food components as they relate to health and disease. Students establish a broad foundation in biochemistry and epidemiology, and conduct research that includes dietary assessment and statistics. Graduates often pursue doctoral study in a related discipline or seek careers in the medical field.
