What is Zoom?

Zoom is a web collaboration and online video meeting tool you’ll use to attend live IU classes and events. As an IU student, you have free access to a Zoom Pro account that allows you to:

  • Attend live classes and meetings online with high-quality HD video and audio
  • Ask questions and participate in discussions with video, chat, or emoji reaction features
  • Record classes and automatically upload cloud recordings to Kaltura, or download recordings as MP4 files
  • Host your own online study groups or student organization meetups
