Financial aid

Many of our programs are eligible for financial aid. We offer a number of flexible payment options to make paying for a program more manageable. Additionally, our team of financial experts is always here to answer questions. They offer many tools to help you manage your finances, including online modules, personal counseling, and a financial aid phone line.

You can apply for most forms of federal, state, and institutional aid by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.

Simplified application process

We are committed to making the application process as simple as possible for you. That’s why the IU Online application is free and can be completed in fewer than 10 minutes. (Graduate and international applicants will be required to complete additional steps to apply.)

Transfer students must have completed 12 or more college-level credits with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better.

Our Transcript Request Service allows us to retrieve most transcripts from U.S. institutions at no cost to students applying to an undergraduate program or select graduate programs. Simply opt in to the service when you fill out the application, and we’ll request all available transcripts for you. If for some reason we are unable to retrieve them all, we’ll notify you right away.
