The Certificate in Diversity and Intercultural Competency prepares students to be familiar with the different types of diversity as well as the contexts and theories related to diversity. Diversity is defined differently according to one's own perspective, and this certificate prepares students for negotiating diverse cultures and identities in different fields of study. The certificate also enables students to understand the impact of diversity in local, national and international contexts.
