IU Southeast offers the Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management (GCCJLM) as part of the Criminal Justice program in the School of Social Sciences. The certificate provides graduate-level students with new skills, strategies, and approaches to the fair and effective administration of justice and the promotion of public safety.

The Graduate Certificate in Criminal justice Leadership and Management can serve as a bridge to further graduate study for those who choose to pursue the M.S. in Criminal Justice and Public Safety.

This certificate is collaboratively taught and 100% online. The program focuses on core areas of knowledge regarding leadership and management in the broad criminal justice field. Students completing this certificate will have taken a focused set of courses that address key issues impacting criminal justice organizations.

The program consists of four courses on the following topics (each course is 3 credits):
