Do you have college credit but no time to complete a degree program? Or are you a working adult seeking a degree with no college credit who can't commit to a full-time class schedule? The Certificate in Core Competencies is an introductory credential that will allow you to attain your degree on your schedule, at your own pace.
This certificate program is open to anyone with a high school diploma or GED who meets IU Southeast's admission requirements. It is similarly available to admitted high school students.
The program is offered fully on-campus with many evening classes, fully online, or a combination of the two formats for ultimate flexibility. The coursework is designed to be completed in one year (full-time) or two years (part-time).
Upon completion of the Certificate in Core Competencies program, you'll be ready to declare a major and pursue a degree in the field of your choice.
