Spanish is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world, is the official language of more than 20 countries and territories, and is quickly growing.

The IU Southeast Spanish program helps you develop the linguistic and intellectual abilities needed to thrive and communicate in a global society.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, you will learn about—and develop appreciation for—the technical aspects of the Spanish language as well as the culture of Spanish-speaking countries.

To earn your degree, you will need at least 120 credit hours, with a minimum of 30 credit hours of upper-level coursework (300-level or above).
