About
Whether you’re interested in launching a career on Capitol Hill, learning how to manage and motivate people, or protecting the planet, a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs (BSPA) degree equips you with the skills to make a difference. With the O’Neill School's core public affairs coursework, you’ll study the basics of policymaking, budgeting, and finance. You’ll also pick a major and develop leadership and analytical skills that can be applied to your specific area of interest.
With a major in nonprofit management and leadership, you'll gain the skills you need to run organizations and programs that provide essential services to people from all walks of life. You’ll learn how to manage people, projects, and communication. You can study cost-benefit analysis, fund development, and financial management in order to graduate with the managerial tools necessary to lead healthy organizations while advancing a cause or mission that you’re passionate about.
