Michael Daiga is a doctoral student in mathematics education at Indiana University-Bloomington. His research interests include researching teachers Statistical Knowledge of Teaching across grade levels and with Advance Placement Statistics courses. Michael’s dissertation research is studying preservice teachers’ knowledge of transnumeration, a type of statistical thinking involving graphical representations. Michael currently teaches high school mathematics at Martinsville High School. His career goal is to support teacher development across K-12 education, with preservice and inservice teachers.
