Elective Title: 49MJ709 — INTERNAL MEDICINE - RHEUMATOLOGY OFFICE BASED

Description:

Outpatient, consultative, and primary care rheumatology with primary emphasis on arthritis, connective tissue disease, vasculitis, and osteoporosis. Primary objectives of diagnosis and treatment of all connective tissue disease, hands-on learning, procedures including joint examinations and joint aspirations, soft tissue bursal injections with no weekend or call obligations. There will be a strong clinical study component with respect to Phase 1 through 4 biologic therapy in rheumatoid arthritis.
