Our world is stressful

We’re all dealing with issues and situations that a year ago would have sounded like a movie script. It’s likely that things you didn’t even know could stress you out are stressors right now. You may be feeling ways you’ve never felt before—anxious, depressed, lonely—and aren’t sure what to do or even understand what these feelings are.

It can be hard to stay grounded.

Being mindful of how you’re feeling and taking steps to help yourself can lift your mood and help make an overwhelming situation feel more in control. Physical exercise, taking a walk, getting some fresh air or talking to others are all great types of self-care.
