What to expect during the spring hybrid session
Timeline of changes to campus
We want to maximize safety on campus, which is why we’re limiting access to some spaces or just keeping them closed. As the semester progresses or conditions change, we’ll adjust levels of access.
Masks
Masks are mandatory in campus buildings (except when you’re alone in a private office/space), on campus transportation, and in outdoor spaces when physical distancing is difficult.
Campus access
IU buildings are open but are card-access only. All students and employees must follow IU and local public health guidelines while on campus. Select buildings on each campus will be open for students to study and access Wi-Fi.
Buildings are open with normal business hours beginning on the following dates:
IU Bloomington—Monday, January 25
IUPUI—Monday, February 1
Regional campuses—Monday, February 8
Remote working
To the extent consistent with the full performance of individuals’ job duties and offices’ responsibilities, limit the number of staff physically present on campus. Staff members should consult their supervisors to determine their work schedules and locations.
Faculty members should limit work on campus to the extent consistent with fulfilling their academic responsibilities.
