All students are encouraged to participate in study abroad opportunities. IU offers more than 100 study aboard programs in 11 West European countries as well as study tours across Europe:

Financial aid information is available through the Overseas Study Office and the EU Center offers an Overseas Education Scholarship for graduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences at IU Bloomington to participate in programs that focus on the European Union.

Free University of Berlin Exchange provides an opportunity to study abroad at one of Germany's top universities. German language proficiency required. Application deadline is October 28, 2011
