a   Rate reflected is the rate charged to new students.
The rate for the most prevalent double room accommodation on the Bloomington campus is $2,781.  This is for an air conditioned room.
The most prevalent board plan is $2,400.  We no longer have a meals per week plan.   The students contract for a set number of points valued at 100 cents per point.   The points can be utilized in all residential food operations as well as the Indiana Memorial Union and the library.  Unused points are not refunded at year end.   Students have the option to add to their point balance at any time.

b  Minnesota: Room = $861, Board = $637 per quarter, total $1,498 per quarter. Academic year is based on three quarters.  Double room, 21 meal plan.

c  Ohio: The rate quoted for 97/98 is the rate for a 2-person room in the south campus residence halls with a 19 meal plus plan.
This rate includes $100/quarter in discretionary spending dollars through the Buck ID plan. Money in this account can be spent at
many on and off-campus locations, including bookstores, restaurants, and convenience stores.

e  Wisconsin does not have "meal plans." They have an a la carte system.  The rate indicated includes $940 in a debit plan.
