1996-97 STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE BY SOURCE


Student Financial Assistance totaled $353.8 million for all campuses of Indiana University. Federal programs accounted for about three quarters of the total.
The largest category of student assistance was student loans, at 64.4 percent of the total. Gift and grant aid accounted for 28.8 percent of the total.
