UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS

A comparison of undergraduate admissions for Fall semester 1995-96 and Fall semester 1996-97 reveals only a slight change in first-year (freshman) students for the whole university, although the percentage change varies widely by campus. This comparison is based on the number of admitted students as of September 9, 1995, and September 9, 1996, which is the conclusion of the first week of classes for all campuses. This figure accurately represents admissions activity for a Fall semester.

At the time of the survey, the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses accounted for 77 percent of the first-year admissions and 67 percent of the transfer admissions.
