Undergraduate and Graduate Enrollment

For fall semester 2004-05, the all-campus undergraduate enrollment is 78,063, or 79 percent of the headcount enrollment of 98,545. Undergraduate enrollment as a percent of total enrollment varies from 97 percent for East campus to 71 percent for IUPUI campus. The percentages reflect stability when compared to 1994 data.

At four campuses - Bloomington, IUPUI, East, and Southeast - graduate enrollment has increased from 1994 to 2004, ranging from 1.7 percent growth at Bloomington to 91.4 percent at Southeast. At the other four campuses, graduate enrollment has decreased: Kokomo (-40.6%), Northwest (-1.3%), South Bend (-23.1%), and Fort Wayne ( -20.6%). Graduate student enrollment for the entire university has increased (7.5%) in the past decade.
