STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE BY SOURCE

     Another view of Student Financial Assistance by Source is shown below.   When Fort Wayne is excluded, Student Financial Assistance totaled $539 million. Federal programs accounted for about three quarters of the total. The largest category of student assistance was student loans, at 65 percent of the total. Gift and grant aid accounted for 34 percent of the total.
