SOURCES OF FUNDS FOR MAJOR PHYSICAL FACILITIES CONSTRUCTED OR ACQUIRED
                       
From 1965-66 through 2002-03, the total cost of major physical facilities constructed or acquired on all campuses was $1,587 million.
Bond issues ($701.5 million, 44%) provide the largest single source of funds for which income from student fees is dedicated to cover the
debt service costs.       
Facilities financed from gifts and other ($440.2 million, 28%) constitute the second most important funding source since 1965-66. 
Other funding sources include user fees/revenue bonds ($243.3 million, 15%), direct state appropriations (108.9 million, 7%), and
federal grants ($93.2 million, 6%.)      
On the Bloomington campus the following major projects were completed:  Auxiliary Library Facility ($6,960,000 other); Eigenmann
Hall Renovation ($11,600,000 other);  Foster-Harper Renovation ($2,135,000 other); School of Informatics Renovation ($2,100,000 other);
Memorial Stadium - Press Box Renovation ($3,500,000 other); Psychology Building Addition ($6,300,000 other); Graduate and Executive
Education Center ($30,000,000 bonds - student fees, $18,000,000 other) Maxwell Hall Renovation ($3,200,000 bonds - student fees).
On the IUPUI campus, the Van Nuys Medical Science Building, Center wing ($3,336,100 gifts and other); Research Institute II
($26,940,000 other); Research Institute II, Radiology 2nd floor addition ($4,058,000 other) was completed.
