DEGREES CONFERRED

       During the 12-month period ending June 30, 2002, Indiana University conferred a total of 15,659 degrees.  Baccalaureate degrees numbered 9,806 or 63 percent of the total number awarded, and master's degrees numbered 3,272 or 21 percent of the total.
       The table below provides a summary of the degrees conferred while the seven additional tables provide greater detail on the degree conferrals by level of program, by campus, and in some cases, by school or division.  Degrees conferred by Purdue University are included in the tables.  Certificate awards are summarized on the next page.
