Reports: Standard
Admissions
Incoming Fall Admissions
As a “point in time” comparison, current admissions activity is viewed with data compiled for a similar point in the previous year. Please note that the 2008 data is naturally much more complete with attributes that may make comparisons to 2009 tenuous in the early iterations of this report. For example, Indiana HS Diploma Type for 2009 may be artificially low because this data point is self- or not-reported for many applicants until late in the admissions cycle.
Each of these reports provides a similar format. The first page provides a summary of beginner and transfer applicants for all campuses. Subsequent pages provide more detail about beginner applicants for each campus. Hyperlinks on each page are highlighted, allowing users to navigate between the summary page and the detailed pages for the campuses. The Bloomington and IUPUI details include data views by standardized test score ranges. For the regional campuses, this section is replaced with views by student age (as of the first day of fall classes) and top feeder high schools. All of the campus pages include views by gender, race/ethnicity, Indiana HS diploma type, and assumed residency status.
Recipients will be notified by e-mail when the reports are ready. Reports will be released on a bi-weekly basis until July when they will become weekly. Reports will reflect the data at the end of the business week and will be first sent to senior administration and the enrollment management personnel for review and comment before the report will be provided to the president.
