Biography

Ty M. Cruce, Ph.D., is senior policy analyst at Indiana University and has been with IU since 2004, after he received his Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Iowa. He previously served as the project manager for the Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement and as a research analyst for the National Survey of Student Engagement while holding the position of assistant research scientist within the IU Center for Postsecondary Research. Ty regularly presents his research at the national conferences for the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) and the Association for Institutional Research (AIR), and his work has appeared in such higher education journals as The Journal of Higher Education, and Journal of College Student Development.
