Web Customer and Content Manager - PA3IT (IU Kokomo campus)
Through collaborative partnerships, develops plans and formulates strategies to ensure delivery of appropriate web related services to campus constituents. Responsible for customer service and support for the website and web-enabled applications, including the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of the code, templates, and tools. Manages all user credentials and roles for access to these tools. Designs and manages website user interface features, and database interactions, utilizing server and client side languages.
Represents campus interests on project teams. Acts as a primary contact between the IU Kokomo campus and the University Information Technology Services for all matters regarding web services and products. Serves on university and campus task forces and committees affecting policy related to web services. Establishes relationships and works collaboratively with web managers on other IU campuses.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field. Two years experience in website and/or web application development.
The ability to quickly learn and apply new web development technologies as well as the ability to identify and employ best practices. Also required is the ability to effectively interact with service owners and content providers, a strong customer service attitude as well as a positive, proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multi-role team environment.
