Position Available:Video Help Desk Consultant (Hourly)

The UITS Video Help Desk is hiring an IU student for a part time consultant position. Student consultants are required to work at least 20 hours per week and no more than 36 hours per week.

Duties and responsibilities; The Video Help Desk consultant provides support for IU.s videoconferencing, Telepresence, streaming, Adobe Connect, and other collaboration tools to all IU affiliates via telephone, email, and instant messaging, provides written updates in our trouble ticket system, and updates the Video Help Desk documentation as needed. The consultant also assists users with setup and operation of videoconferencing systems in certain conference rooms and classrooms, and may assist on location with special events that utilize our collaboration technology tools.

Qualifications/Requirements: Applicants are required to have prior customer services experience, proven technical abilities, excellent written communication skills, timeliness and commitment to follow through, and the ability to speak English clearly and well. Some evenings and weekends may be required as is a commitment to work at lease two full semesters, not including summer.
