Technical Team Lead CRM - PA4IT
Leads systems analysis and programming personnel in the Lifetime Engagement Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems area. Responsible for development and management of technical work plan, supervision of development team, deployment, management and systems development required by departments using the Lifetime Engagement Systems at the enterprise level. These systems include Interactions and Campaign Management, Mass Communications, Event Registration and Management, Personal Content Web Pages, Social CRM, Chat and SMS communication channels, etc.
Coordinates the activities of the technical team and collaborates with other UITS development teams and customer technology departments; provides strong leadership in the design and development of robust and reliable enterprise-scale web applications; and participates in the development of long-range plans for systems development. Responsible for the implementation of enterprise web applications; conducts research, evaluates alternatives, and proposes solutions; and provides technical leadership, expertise, and supervision of activities needed for systems analysis, design, and programming as related to system development and maintenance, Develops and reviews .Net programming standards and techniques, and conducts code reviews for compliance. Serves as liaison with user departments and heads special assignment groups; serves on various committees; and represents the institution at local, state, and national professional organizations. Responsible for coordinating the activities of our vendor partners on development projects and support issues.
Establishes priorities for tasks to ensure that the development and implementation of projects s in alignment with overall initiative priorities and timelines. Assists Project Manager with plans and assignments; and supervises the work activities of analyst/programmers and assists with performance evaluations. Plans and assists in the education, training, and technical development of analyst/programmers; prepares a variety of reports and analyses supporting short and long-range objectives; reviews, evaluates, and approves proposed modifications and design specifications; and provides time and cost estimates and documentation for these proposals.
REQUIRED: Bachelors' degree and five years of progressive computing experience including at least four years of systems development and/or system administration experience in a large complex computing environment.
A combination of related education and experience may be considered at a 2:1 ratio.
Demonstrated abilities in project plan management, technical leadership and development including strong team building, problem solving, decision making, motivational, and communication skills. Must be able to work collaboratively within a complex IT environment, across multiple subject areas, with people at their level of technical knowledge. Must be able to assume technical leadership for information system projects working at the highest level of technical complexity with a high level of accuracy, dependability, and responsibility.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical skills; strong customer orientation; and enthusiasm for new technologies.
Preferred: The ideal candidate would have experience developing scripts for Windows PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting technologies as well as familiarity with IU systems and platforms.
