Programmer/Analyst - PA2IT
Job Summary: Under moderate supervision, assists with the design, development and support of network monitoring, management, and measurement software. Supports the Global NOC.s 24x7x365 production software systems through a Round Robin rotation and after-hours On-Call rotation; and participates in the evaluation of emerging technologies.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related technology area.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred: One year in the development of complex software systems; experience with the following: Perl, computer networks (local and wide area), relational databases, web services, Unix system administration; experience with some of the following technologies: MySQL, Linux, SNMP, XML, Nagios, RRDtool; practical experience developing or supporting systems developed and deployed in a Linux environment.
