Lead Electronic Document Business Analyst - PA3IT

Job Summary: Research and analyze existing business processes in order to architect large scale electronic document storage with search and retrieval solutions for Indiana University Campuses, Schools, Departments, and Auxiliary units. Coordinate the development and implementation strategy necessary to meet business requirements, University wide. Continuously enhance product and configurations to meet customer needs. Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and analysis to resolve more complex issues. Collaborate with customer on implementation and ensure solution is made available for future troubleshooting and analysis. Analyze customer requests and support issues to provide feedback into long-term development changes. Work with the vendor.s engineering support to resolve issues.

Effective project leadership skills are essential for this position. The Lead Business Document Analyst will have or develop a rich understanding of the business processes related to Admission to the university. The individual will facilitate the transformation to shared services in alignment with the Student Services Initiative undertaken by the university. In addition, the individual will communicate and consult with the stakeholders in campus functional units and negotiate, mediate and resolve issues critical to the migration to shared services at the University.

Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in analytic or computer-related field. Combinations of related education and experience will be considered. At least two years of experience working in higher education student systems. Indiana University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment institution.

Demonstrable experience in analyzing complex problems and producing concrete, actionable solutions. Experience in resolving highly complex integration issues involving multiple technologies and business areas. Demonstrated knowledge of unit and/or Central office business and administrative processes or relevant higher education experience. Successful experience with business analysis, process mapping, and design of complex systems and processes. Project management experience required. Position requires excellent oral, written and listening skills, ability to interpret complex environments and communicate with customers from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.

Demonstrated technical, analytical, and problem solving skills to take business requirements and abstract them into models and concepts. Effective time management skills with an ability to deliver consistently high quality work even in the face of changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary for working collaboratively and strategically within a diverse environment.
