Interactive Designer - PA3IT
Designs, develops, produces, and evaluates multimedia and web-based materials, presentations, and publications. Analyzes visual communications needs of Information Technology (IT) users, identifies problems, recommends solutions, and initiates and evaluates activities. Leads visual communications, interactive, and web development projects for the IT Communications Office (ITCO); and assesses requirements and manages the efficient and effective delivery of professional graphics and new media products.
REQURIED: Bachelor's degree in visual communications, graphic arts, new media, or related field and two years of experience in designing interactive, user interface, and web-based publications.
Combination of related education and experience may be considered.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, designing for mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones; skill with Mac or PC; and graphic and web design skills including proficiency in coding HTML/CSS.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate closely with a diverse range of members as part of a multi-faceted communications team; and ability to work with minimal supervision, be service oriented, and self-directed.
