Computer Coordinator - SS0H
Description and Responsibilities:
Provides technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students from all IU campuses via phone, email, chat and walk-in, for UITS centralized services including but not limited to: Oncourse, OneStart, IU List, Account Management System, and networks. Provides immediate expert support for instructors and students using Oncourse, IU's online collaboration and learning environment; maintains expertise regarding UITS central systems as they change and are upgraded over time; and updates technical articles in the IU Knowledge Base.
Assists with administrative tasks relating to IT accounts; Follows UITS Change Management proceedings and summarizes/reports information to the Support Center; communicates with the Operations and Networking teams, application owners, system administrators, and other members of the support community, in order to track, identify, and report outages; and posts and updates IT Notices.
REQUIRED: Associate degree in computer science, computer systems technology, or a closely related field and one year of computing support experience.
Directly related work experience may be substituted at a ratio of two years of progressively more responsible experience for each year of education.
One year of computing support experience required.
