Is the new Data Center delivery address in EPIC?
Yes. The new address is in the drop down selection. Select “Data Center – CIB” as the building and the address will populate for you.If vendors send me packages, not ordered through EPIC, do I need to notify the vendors of our change in mailing address?
Many vendors use their internal shipping data and not necessarily the “ship to” address listed on a purchase order. To ensure timely delivery of packages, you should contact your vendors and notify them of our delivery address change. The United States Postal Service will still deliver to the front reception desk at WCC. However, the receptionist desk at WCC simply does not have the room to accept anything larger than a mailing envelope.
Since I don’t have cardkey access to the Data Center, how do I get my stuff?
The dock will be staffed the following hours for package pickup and outgoing shipments:
8am-12pm Monday through Friday and
1pm – 5pm Monday, Thursday, and Friday
Your UITS ID will be required to gain entrance into the building. Security protocol requires you to scan your card at the “man-gate” outside the dock area, regardless of whether or not you have access to the building. Call on the video phone and present your picture ID to confirm your identity. You will then be let into the building to retrieve your packages. Ideally you should call the dock office (855-2881) prior to picking up your package to ensure all paperwork is complete before your arrival.
I rely on the dock staff for transfer of old equipment over to Salvage/Resale. What will the new process be to deliver these items to the new Data Center Dock?
We will accept salvage materials at both the Data Center Dock and WCC dock. Please call the Dock office at 855-2881 prior to drop off so we can meet you at the desired location and complete the necessary paperwork.
