Job Title and Grade: Inventory Control Coordinator / SSOD

This is administrative and clerical work, performing a variety of non-routine tasks related to the maintenance of the inventory control system.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Determines and analyzes minimum stock requirements; monitors inventory; reorders as necessary to maintain minimum levels.
Verifies and records orders and invoices; ensures accuracy and completeness, makes necessary changes and adjustments; enters into system and approves for pay.
Reviews all receipts for completeness; checks packing slips to orders; inspects products; enters data into system.
Verifies statements from vendor; investigates and resolves discrepancies.
Monitors orders; investigates and resolves delays; handles rush orders and returns.
Maintains general accounts system; produces profit/loss statements and balance sheets.
Gathers and collates information from receipts, invoices, sales, etc.; produces reports based on this information.
Performs data retrieval and analysis for inventory information system.
Assists in budget preparation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of computer and database/spreadsheet software.
Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
Familiarity with standard office equipment and procedures.
Good organizational skills.
Problem solving skills.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: One year inventory control experience.
