This is clerical and administrative work performing a variety of tasks following established guidelines to assist in the daily operations of the pro golf shop and golf course.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees collection and of fees, membership fees, and retail sales; prepares cash balance and deposits.
Organizes tee times on the golf courses for individuals and groups and informs them of course rules and regulations.
Trains the temporary employees monitoring the golf courses to ensure that customers abide by course rules and regulations.
Maintains records of daily play on golf courses and prepares reports on usage for golf course manager.
Maintains addresses and other information on customers.
Establish sand oversees maintenance schedules for golf carts; orders parts for carts; assists in repairing carts.
Performs general housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, washing windows, etc.
Organizes schedules and operations for the driving range; organizes, schedules, and oversees arrangements for golf outings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of golf rules and equipment.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Ability to work well with a wide range of people.
Good communication skills.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: No experience required.
