Arthur M. Vivian supports higher education inside and outside the classroom. He is a founding member of the IU East Advisory Board, was awarded an honorary doctoral degree by IU in 1983 and is a recipient of the Jefferson Award. The Arthur M. Vivian Auditorium on the IU East campus was named in his honor for his leadership and support.
