John Brown, a senior from Rockford, IL, is a Wells Scholar with a double major in mathematics and English. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, president of Math Club, a member of the Board of Aeons, and works at the Math Learning Center. He has studied abroad in France, worked at the National Security Agency and done research at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington. He has served on the Scholarship Advisory Committee, as a docent at the IU Art Museum, and a former IDS opinion columnist. He sings and plays the guitar and cello.
