W. Paul Helmke, Jr., born into the family legacy of Walter Edward and Walter Paul Helmke of Fort Wayne, Indiana on November 24, 1948, was former mayor of Fort Wayne.
Helmke, like his grandfather in 1975, and his father in 1980, won the Ralph E. Broyles Medal in 2000.
