Nathan won track letters in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990. She won Big Ten championships indoors in the long jump and pentathlon, and outdoors in the hurdles and long jump; a total of six Big Ten championships. She was runner-up in the pentathlon in the 1990 NCAA championships and was a member of 2000 U.S. Olympic team in heptathlon.
