BIOGRAPHY
Steve won basketball letters in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987. He was a 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist and co-captain of the IU basketball team in 1986 and 1987. Steve was IU's Most Valuable Player four years, the only four-time MVP in history. Steve was a three-time first team All-Big Ten and Big Ten MVP in 1987. He was first team All-American in 1986 and 1987 and the second leading scorer in IU history with 2,438 points, career leader in free throw percentage, and season record-holder in 3-point field goals made. Steve helped lead the Hoosiers to 1987 NCAA Championship with seven 3-pointers.
