Shrikrishna W. Dhawale received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Bombay in 1957. He then earned his M.S. in 1960, and his Ph.D. in 1968 in Physical Chemistry from the University of Bombay. He is a Professor of Chemistry at Indiana University East in Richmond.
