BIOGRAPHY
Carolyn Prickett Gutman was a civic leader and member of the Indiana University Board of Trustees from 1974 to 1986. She was also instrumental in the acquisition of the McKay Farm. In 1979 she received the Ralph E. Broyles Medal. She founded in 1976 the Friends of IPFW. Ms. Gutman served as president or vice president of the Indiana-Purdue Foundation at Fort Wayne for thirteen years. On May 8, 1996 she was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from Indiana University.
