Since joining the IUSB faculty in 1972, Knauss has developed courses and conferences in collective bargaining, labor history, labor law, steward training, union leadership and workplace safety and health. Due to his efforts, labor studies has grown from a small collection of non-credit courses to a full baccalaureate curriculum at three sites.
