Randy came to IUSB in 1975 with a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. He teaches educational psychology, interpersonal communications, and educational motivation. His research interests are motivation, self regulated learning, metacognition, and retention in higher education. He has worked closely with a group of education students to develop a peer mentor program that supports students in his Educational Psychology class as well as the New Student Orientation and the U100 program for incoming freshman students.
