BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Richard G. Peterson is a Professor of Anatomy at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. He served as the interim Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at IUPUI in place of Charles Blevins in 1974, until David Burr was appointed in 1990.
Dr. Peterson’s research interests focus on animal models for diabetes, the treatment of diabetes, and the complications of diabetes, such as peripheral neuropathies. Treatments are sought to prevent the complications of diabetes.
