Application Process

1. Contact the program head or arrange an URTA site interview:

• Costume Design- Linda Pisano, Associate Professor
• Lighting Design- Rob Shakespeare, Professor
• Scenic Design- Fred Duer, Assistant Professor
• Theatre Technology- Paul Brunner, Assistant Professor

2. Promptly arrange a site visit and submit your application, which includes:

• Statement of goals
• Reference letters
• Transcript (GRE's are not typically required)

3. Students are admitted into the program after proving competency as shown by their portfolio, statement of goals, and required onsite interview. Judgments of portfolio, writing quality and professional potential are made by members of the Design and Technology Faculty Committee.
