In support of this mission, the SRIFIAS maintains a library of 12,000 volumes, publishes for the field under several imprints, coordinates the Volga-Kama Initiative, organizes and sponsors international workshops and conferences, supports digital research projects, coordinates and organizes the Central Eurasian Studies Colloquium, and supports visiting scholars seeking to use the SRIFIAS library.
