Lisa Blomgren Bingham, IUB, presented "When We Hold
No Truths to Be Self-Evident: Truth, Belief, Trust, and the Decline in Trials",
as part of a symposium entitled "The Vanishing Trial" at the National
Conference on Court-connected ADR, American Bar Association Section of Dispute
Resolution in Atlanta, Georgia on April 6.
On March 22, Kirsten A. Grønbjerg, IUB, gave a presentation
on Indiana’s nonprofit sector, highlighting the role of nonprofit
organizations in Indiana’s economy and the outlook for charitable
giving to such organizations, for key state agency staff members at the
Indiana Business Research Center/Department of Workforce Development quarterly
update on Indiana’s economy.
John Krauss, IUPUI; Nan Stager, IUB; and
Greg Zoeller, Chief Deputy Attorney General of Indiana, presented a panel
presentation: “Government: Sustaining High Performance ADR on the
State Level” at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Dispute Resolution 8th
Annual Conference in Atlanta on April 8, 2006. The ADR Section of the ABA
is its largest section and conference.
On April 5th, Todd Royer, IUB, presented a seminar at the
University of Nebraska entitled, "Temporal Patterns in Nutrient Export
from Agricultural Watersheds: Implications for Water Quality in the Mississippi
River". The presentation was part of the Water and Natural Resources
seminar series sponsored by the Water Center and School of Natural Resources
at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
