Rafael Reuveny
Professor

Ph.D., Indiana University, 1997

 

Rafael Reuveny holds a double-major doctoral degree from the School of Business and the Department of Political Science, both in Indiana University, Bloomington. He has published papers in various journals, including American Journal of Political Science, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Peace Research, International Organization, Review of International Studies, Policy Studies Journal, Policy Sciences, Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy, and Research in Social Movements, Conflicts and Change. He has forthcoming papers in various journals, including Ecological Economics and Defense and Peace Economics. His research employs various analytical methods, including statistical models, formal mathematical models, case studies, and policy analyses. His research topics include various political-economic aspects of international conflict, focusing on the Arab-Israeli conflict, Islamic and Jewish Fundamentalism, the relationship between international trade and political conflict, the relationship between political conflict and scarcity of natural resources, the relationship between international conflict and democracy, and the relationship between international conflict and economic growth and innovation in the long run.
