Laurie G. Antolovic'
Deputy CIO and Finance Officer

Laurie G. Antolovic' has served as Associate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in the Office of the Vice President for Research and Information Technology at Indiana University. With the recent reorganization of OVPIT, Antolovic' now serves as IT Chief Administrative and Finance Officer with responsibilities expanded to include oversight of technology futures and the Applied Technology Laboratory of UITS. She oversees an annual IT budget of over $100M and an annual Research budget of $60M. Antolovic' had a major role in the development of the implementation plan for Indiana University's Strategic Plan for Information Technology. In particular, Antolovic' led the development and implementation of the university's comprehensive life cycle funding program for computers, one of the first initiatives of its kind in the nation. She has published articles and presented at conferences on the topics of IT funding, IT strategic planning, budgeting for IT, and Activity-Based Costing. She joined Indiana University in 1985 and served as systems and accounting manager of the IU Bloomington Health Center, and subsequently held numerous financial management positions at IU's central IT and IUB Research organizations. Antolovic' has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, with concentrations in Management and Management Information Systems.
